jumbo SHRIMP™

The jumbo SHRIMP by Q uses our Quickie™ Fast-Attach design with precision shooters in mind.  Short, lightweight, and hearing safe, this is a silencer for those who prefer a more compact platform, or who don’t want unnecessary length added to their favorite precision bolt gun.  The jumbo SHRIMP is made up of 100% titanium with a PVD coating, fully rotary welded with no outer tube (more internal volume), and features standard size wrench flats on the front and back for easy install and removal.

  • CALIBER: 6.5 Creedmoor
  • DIAMETER:  1.75″
  • SILENCER WEIGHT:   9.2 oz
  • OVERALL LENGTH:  5.69″
  • ATTACHMENT: Quickie™ Fast-Attach

“How do you disassemble this silencer to clean it?”

Disassembling a centerfire, rifle caliber silencer is completely unnecessary.  Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you a lesser quality silencer of their own.

“What tools do I need to attach and remove this silencer?”

We’re not going to nickel and dime you.  Our jumbo SHRIMP features standard 3/4 wrench flats on the front, and 1-inch wrench flats on the rear.  You can find these tools at your local hardware store.

  1. Light weight, practical and precise...

I have the jumbo shrimp and I absolutely enjoy it. My Fix rifle in 6.5 had a trash panda on it before the jumbo shrimp was available. To my un-scientific ear (while wearing protection) there is no major difference in the sound between the larger and heavier (and made for .30 cal) trash panda than the jumbo shrimp. This is due to excellent design. I like both cans (and all of my Q cans)… but the jumbo shrimp is ideal for a light weight hunting rig like my Fix. Heck, I would put a jumbo shrimp on a 5.56 rifle if I did not have cans on all of mine already. If you want light, practical and awesome… buy it.
